Food Service Lead

Tipton's Your Independent Grocer is seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality service in our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and supervise staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Evaluate and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to optimize inventory levels.
- Recruit and hire food service staff and ensure they receive necessary training and support.
- Maintain high-quality standards by inspecting food and services regularly.
- Prepare accurate budgets and cost estimates based on sales and demand forecasts.
- Address customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Manage inventory and stock levels effectively, minimizing waste and maximizing profits.
- Collaborate with management to achieve operational objectives and improve overall performance.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Familiarity with inventory management and budgeting principles.
$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
Work EnvironmentThis is a permanent full-time position with 30-35 hours of work per week.
Location:Urban area, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
