**About the Role**:
**Your Responsibilities**:
**Payroll Processing and Accounting**:

- Oversee the processing of payroll transactions in Ceridian Dayforce.
- Ensure accurate GL postings related to payroll and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll-related journal entries and assist with month-end close activities.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Analyze payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
- Generate reports for management review, including variance analysis and payroll summaries.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll data and documentation.

**Compliance and Reconciliation**:

- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Work closely with the accounting team to integrate payroll data with financial systems.

**System Management**:

- Utilize Ceridian Dayforce for all payroll-related activities.
- Collaborate with IT and HR to enhance payroll system functionalities and efficiencies.
- Participate in system upgrades and testing to ensure continuous improvement.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and accounting.
- Proficiency in Ceridian Dayforce and knowledge of payroll best practices.
- Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

**Your preferred qualifications**:

- Experience working the manufacturing sector preferred.
