Accounting Support Team Specialist

**About the team**
A finance department’s activities can have a tremendous impact on an organization and its general performance, eXp Realty is no exception. Our finance team provides critical information to leadership for effective management and successful outcomes. We work closely with management throughout the organization, we manage equity, we identify risk management, ensure cash flow management as well as handle tax management. As a successful member of the finance team you will problem solve, be highly analytical, extremely detail oriented and be a top notch communicator.
**What you will do**:
This individual must have high attention to detail and has excellent communication skills. Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
- Ensure all Agents correspondence is acknowledged within 2 hours
- Ensure Agents inquiries are directed to the appropriate department
- Regularly meet with AST Lead to be aware of all changes/updates to policy and procedures
- Prepare Employment verification letters when requested
- Prepare Report of Earnings to Agents and send T4A and tax sheets when requested
- Filing for various departments within the Finance Department
- Receive and deposit cheques received from Canada Post or various couriers through the FTNI App or In person at a branch when required.
- Organize and store physical cheques in accordance with retention policies, until shredding requirement at which time, can shred
- Forward any mail to agents or other departments as identified
- Follow up with Other Brokers/Lawyers for outstanding A/R as noted on the Funding & Productivity Reports

- Ensure availability and responsiveness during agreed-upon working hours.

- Proficient knowledge of G Suite required; Microsoft Office experience is a bonus
- Remote Work experience required
- Dedicated home-office/work space
- Advanced Trello experience preferred
- Aptitude for using online platforms and softwares to work remotely
**Education**:
- 3+ years experience working in a customer service environment
- Must be very well organized and able to multi-task
- Willing to work additional hours if required
