Service Nova Scotia and Internal Services (SNS-IS) helps citizens, businesses and municipalities across Nova Scotia access a variety of government programs and services. We also support the public sector as it delivers the programs and services that Nova Scotians rely upon by providing corporate, information and technology services to government; process financial transactions; audit government operations; collect and share geographic data; manage major purchases; and help public sector bodies administer freedom of information and privacy laws.

**About Our Opportunity**:
In this role you will join the Operational and Service Excellence team, within the Corporate Innovation Portfolio. The team supports business areas across the Province with business process improvements deployment and initiatives. **Primary Accountabilities**:

- Graphic design program materials including training materials.
- Create visually appealing promotional and communication materials.
- Work with Adobe Creative Suite to stretch your imagination and innovation.
- Work within the Microsoft Office Suite environment.
- Create brief, fun, and informative “how-to” instructional videos.
- Assisting team members with varying tasks.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
You are a student, currently enrolled in a post-graduate education program and returning to school in the fall or next applicable semester. You also possess the following:

- Visual graphic design and videographer skills.
- Excellent visual skills.
- Savvy with Adobe Creative Suite software.
- Creativity and innovation are second nature.
- Video creation and editing skills.
- Above average verbal and written communication skills.
- Swift learner and expands boundaries.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

The following will be considered assets:

- Exposure to business process improvement principles.
- Outgoing with great interpersonal relationship ability.
- Continuous improvement oriented, continuously challenging status quo.

**Additional Information**:
This is a full-time summer student position ending after August.
