Person who analyzes the needs, conceives and applies professional techniques in the field of administrative methods and systems, in order to improve service delivery.

**SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS**

**Strategic responsibilities**
- Acts as a liaison with Communications Department and Information Technology department, including other relevant partners within the organization and externally;
- Provides support for data collection, analysis and communication with the team, in the organization and with partners;
- Gives support to the planning and preparing of documents to be presented at committees and meetings.

Operational responsibilities
- Monitors department budgets and provides quarterly statements to the management team;
- Contributes to planning, either through direct support to the Directors, or in supportive collaboration with mandated personnel;
- Supports the functioning of each Department of SAPA, Healing Lodge, Mental Health & Special Needs;
- Carries out any other function at the request of the supervisor.

Administrative Responsibilities
- Provides support to the Directors and assist and advise the Management Team in the field of administrative processes, methods and systems;
- Monitors, advises and supports development and improvement of administrative processes as well as support to regional administrative staff;
- Provides support and advice on interdepartmental collaboration;
- Provides support and advice on all files, as requested, within each Directors Regional scope;
- Supports in the development of an administrative support system based on the department’s needs;
- Contributes to the effective and efficient processes for the administrative functioning of each Department as directed by his/her supervisor;
- Assesses the needs for supporting the administration function and recommends, develops, establishes and maintains an appropriate administrative system.

**REQUIREMENTS**

Education and experience:

- Bachelor of Science in Administration, Human Science, Social Sciences or other relevant academic discipline.
- Three (3) years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Abilities:

- Knowledge of administrative systems, techniques, practices, data analysis, reporting and information systems;
- Knowledge of the MSSS Network, policies and programs, administrative regulations;
- Knowledge of First Nation social service models, trends and issues (an asset);
- Ability in the identification and analysis of the administrative systems needs for Miiniwaachiihiwaaukimikw Healing Lodge;
- Ability in supporting the development of programs, policies, procedures and other documents;
- Knowledge of Cree culture is an asset;
- Excellent interpersonal communication, diplomacy, negotiating, leadership and teamwork skills;
- Ability to effectively collaborate;
- Excellent communication skills, both listening, written and presentation;
- Methodical, autonomous, flexible, and ability to multi-task;
- Excellent critical thinking, synthesis, organizational and decision-making skills as applied to planning and problem-solving;
- Able to prioritize and work under pressure;

**LANGUAGE**
- Fluent in two of the languages: Cree, French, English, and able to read French and English;
- Fluency in the third language is an asset.

**OTHER**
- Willing to travel.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.07-$46.30 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
