Who are we looking for?
Reporting to the SVP, Sales, the motivated and detail-oriented Quotation Specialist will play a crucial role in accelerating the sales process by providing accurate and timely quotations to RamSoft’ s sales and customer success teams, as well as to our distribution partners. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing and overseeing continuous improvements to the quotation platform to implement process and workflow improvements, including opportunities for automation.
What will you bring to RamSoft?
- 3 -5 years of successful experience managing quotations for a remote sales team; a significant benefit would be experience in the PACS/RIS industry in the USA, preferably with SaaS-specific experience; global experience is welcomed.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret pricing models and financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Proven track record in a fast-paced environment, ability to drive clarity and decisions, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively
- Must be a self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadline.
What will you do in RamSoft?
For Quotation Management
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and quickly develop customized quotations tailored to their needs.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all quotations, including correct contact details, pricing, product configurations, and terms and conditions.
- Manage the quotation approval process and internally negotiate special pricing and terms when necessary.
- Manage quotation iterations as many sales require multiple modifications to a quotation through the final sales stages.
- Maintain “Pricing Books” so that price lists can be easily generates for sales teams of distribution partners.
- Maintain dashboard of quotation activity
- Develop training tools to training the commercial team and distributors on how to use the quotation system.
- Analyse pricing structures, discounting strategies, and contract terms with SVP, Sales & Finance to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Interlock with billing to ensure all quotes are prepared accurately and timely ahead of invoice distribution to customers.
For Process Improvement
- Work with the Director, Commercial Platforms to continually update the Quotation Platform to implement sales efficiencies, new functionality and streamlined workflows.
- Continuously evaluate and refine quotation processes and tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Gather feedback from the sales team and distributors to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements.
