**SUMMARY OF ROLE**

**Your Responsibilities**:

- To increase and develop new business in the Toronto (GTA) and Ottawa area (with future possibility expanding business development into the Quebec region).
- Establish relationships and provide support to WPS clients in the region.
- Work with WPS instructor(s), coordinate and schedule client training programs.
- Prepare fee proposals for prospective clients.
- Perform live software and app demonstrations on-site and online.
- Perform annual account reviews with Preferred Clients subscribers.
- Attend industry networking events and trade shows (as required).
- Communicate and support client services, project manager and production team members as necessary.
- Handle client issues or problems.
- Develop marketing initiatives to generate leads with the approval of head office.
- Report to the President

**Experience and Skills Required**:

- Past success and experience in account management and/or sales.
- Previous experience working with the property management industry or in the fire safety planning or emergency management business.
- Presenting and delivering presentations; performing software/app demonstrations, on-site or online.
- Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week from Monday thru Friday.
- Organized and able to work independently from a home-based office.
- Dress in professional attire when attending any client meetings or events.
- Must speak fluent English if you are bilingual in French it would be an asset for the Quebec market.
- Strong written communications skills.
- Computer skills, using Gmail, Microsoft Office, HubSpot, Zoom and PowerPoint
- Reliable transportation (km allowance for business use).
- From time to time you will be required to do overnight travel to meet with clients or prospects and/or attend industry conferences.
- Must submit a personal resume with references and be willing to take necessary steps to obtain background security clearance.

**Remuneration**:
This position will be pay a base salary plus commission, after our 90-day probationary period you will also be eligible for the company group health benefits program.
