Security Manager and Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Security Manager and Sales Representative to lead our security team and drive sales growth. Activox is a trusted local provider of security solutions dedicated to protecting homes and businesses in our community. As a company, we prioritize personalized service and attention to detail, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of security and peace of mind.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage a small security team by motiving, providing guidance and support to achieve common goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to generate leads, acquire new customers, maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a strong relationship with customers.
- Collaborate with the installation and customer service teams to ensure smooth coordination and execution of projects, from initial sale through to installation, close out and ongoing support.
- Prepare customer quotes in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales, achievements and areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities for business.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma required; additional education in a related field is an asset.
- Proven success in sales, with experience in a leadership or management role preferred.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and listening skills amongst customers and colleagues.
- Knowledge and technical experience of security alarm systems, CCTV, access control is required
- Develop and prepare proposals, make presentations and perform necessary follow-up for successful closing of the sale
- Attention to detail
- Ability to build a rapport and create a trusting relationship with potential customers
- Reliability and self-discipline a key attribute
- Aptitude for problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Ability to read architectural and electrical drawings
- Knowledge of commercial and government tender base websites and documents with ability to complete a tender document for submittal
- Strong command to speak, read and write in English; French is an asset
- Valid driver’s license
