What you will do:
Project Coordinator helps the Project Management team manage resources, manage information, assist with scheduling and planning meetings, complete project activities on assigned projects.

This is a hybrid position. Office location is 137 Northfield Drive West, Waterloo.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain quality of all project deliverables by maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, communication and project control. Maintain and monitor project organization artifacts including project schedules, risk registers, action logs, change orders, budget tracking, responsibility assignment matrix.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of a variety of projects for a solution-based offering (hardware/software/professional services/creative).
- Contribute and host internal and external status meetings, preparing status reports and meeting minutes for stakeholders. Identify and communicate issues, risks and changes that impact project scope, timeline or budget.
- Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Communicate ideas for improving company processes.

Education & Certification
- Post-secondary education with focus on one or more of the following:

- Business
- Communications
- Administration
- Technology
- Working towards Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)

Experience
- 1-3 years of experience supporting cross functional projects in a team environment using both waterfall and agile methodologies
- General knowledge of Project Management approach, discipline and practices

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
- Sense of urgency and the ability to juggle multiple priority tasks with ease.
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities while being exceptionally organized and able to prioritize quickly.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Identify project risks, work with the project team to develop mitigation plans and communicate effectively with the customer using appropriate and reasonable escalation steps.
- Ability to manage and track complex data in excel or other database formats.
- Effective written, oral and presentation skills.
- Proactive, motivated and resourceful individual.
- Proficient in MS Project and the MS Office Suite of products.
