**Job Summary**: We are looking for a Marketing and Program Developer Intern to innovate and expand our offerings. This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing engaging programs that connect people with the natural beauty of Lake Superior and enhance our brand through thoughtful marketing strategies. This is a one-year internship that may lead to permanent employment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage all aspects of digital marketing, including SEO enhancements and web initiatives to improve online presence and interaction.
- Drive social media strategies and manage day-to-day interactions with our audience to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- Facilitate person-to-person communications and client relationship building to foster strong, lasting partnerships.
- **New Product Build, Testing, and Launching**:

- Lead the development process for new offerings, from conceptualization and prototype testing to final product launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications meet market needs and company standards.
- Oversee pilot projects and beta tests to gather data, refine product designs, and prepare for comprehensive rollouts. This will include participation in day trips, or longer tours and carters as part of the product roll out.
- **New Market Initiatives**:

- Identify and analyze new market opportunities to expand the company’s reach and impact.
- Develop and implement targeted strategies for entering new segments, including demographic studies and partnership development.
- Monitor and report on the progress of market entry strategies, adjusting tactics as needed to achieve business objectives.
- **Customer Relations**:

- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Address customer inquiries and issues promptly, ensuring resolution to their satisfaction.
- Develop customer feedback loops to gather insights and improve service delivery continuously.
- **IT Maintenance and Web Programming**:

- Perform routine maintenance on IT infrastructure to ensure systems are functioning optimally.
- Update and manage website content and architecture, implementing new features and functionalities as required.
- Collaborate with external IT service providers to resolve complex issues and ensure data security.
- **Graphic Design**:

- Design marketing materials and digital content that align with the brand’s aesthetic and promotional goals.
- Create visual concepts that communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate customers.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that all designs meet business needs and are consistent across various media.
- **Product Delivery Logistics**:

- Coordinate logistics for product distribution, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to customers.
- Manage inventory levels, storage solutions, and transportation methods to optimize supply chain processes.
- Work with vendors and logistics partners to negotiate contracts and manage relationships to ensure smooth operations.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Liaise with regulatory bodies to maintain safe and compliant products, ensuring all company offerings adhere to legal and industry standards.

**Internship Eligibility (in collaboration with NOHFC)**:

- New entrants into the workforce, transitioning to a new career, or the unemployed or underemployed who are entering a new field.
- Have not previously participated in a NOHFC-funded internship.
- Are at least 18 years of age.
- Reside, and be legally entitled to work, in Canada.
