**JOB OVERVIEW**

Responsibilities include maintaining community relations, developing marketing and communication materials to support recruitment, and enhancing engagement for our programs, events, and initiatives. The role will also involve supporting and participating in events as needed.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Digital Marketing
- Support website maintenance and development using WordPress and related plugins in accordance with brand standards.
- Copywrite and produce valuable and engaging content for the website.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and user experience to maximize reach and impact.
- Curate engaging visual content.
- Support copywriting and content creation, tagging, and conversion tracking.
- Manage marketing campaigns through MailChimp.
- Provide admin duties such as following up with quotes, coordinating meetings, and collecting information for branding/marketing.
- Managing a social media calendar and scheduling posts.
- Track and regularly report digital performance metrics for a variety of platforms (e.g., social media channels, Google Analytics)
- Summarize and report event/campaign outcomes to inform strategies for audience engagement.
- Researching new relevant trends in the industry to utilize in marketing promotions.
- Brainstorm with team members to develop new content ideas.
- Provide editorial, creative, and technical support to team members.
- Maintain relations with the community
- Create marketing and communications materials to support and enhance recruitment and engagement for our programs, events and initiatives.
- Support & Attend events as required

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION**
- A university degree or college diploma in digital marketing, advertising, communications or a related field.
- Excellent copywriting, written, and verbal communication skills require.
- Ability to analyze and interpret social media statistics and website updates.
- Existing knowledge of Mailchimp, WordPress, and JotForm is required.
- Editing experience using Canva, photoshop, or illustrator required.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is an asset.
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with members of the community, and volunteers.
- High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- High level of flexibility and responsiveness.
