- About the role

As ATB’s next Manager, Market Activation will play a key role in supporting the Strategic Markets team by facilitating the execution of market activations, fostering client relationships, and contributing to internal and external brand building efforts. This role will involve a blend of project management, event planning, client relationship management, and communication skills to drive the success of strategic market initiatives and enhance ATB's brand presence.
- Accountabilities

Business Development
- Lead and facilitate the execution and organization of sponsored market activations and ‘in house’ activations (e.g., Connection and Cuisine Series)
- Collaborate with Directors to research and recommend new activation opportunities
- Support IFS and W with pre-event preparation and post-event follow-up. Attend events as needed
- Develop and implement comprehensive ROI metrics to measure the effectiveness of brand-building activities and track progress towards strategic goals.
- Support and develop ‘tell the story’ from activations: compile pictures, videos, and testimonials to share both internally and externally to increase awareness and expand reach

Client Experience Excellence
- Support W and IFS teams with client communication pre and post-event by: Preparing invitations, organize surprise and delight opportunities with strategic markets (gifts and thank-you card send-outs)
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, prospective clients, partners, and communities through proactive communication and engagement at activations and events.
- Design and execute "surprise and delight" initiatives for strategic markets, including personalized gifts and communications, to enhance client loyalty and advocacy.

Internal and External Brand Support
- Prepare presentations and support Directors with presentations internally when needed
- Coordinate support for Strategic Markets accreditation programs, ongoing learning efforts, and champion/ambassador workshops
- Draft impactful LinkedIn content that highlights thought leadership, milestones, and celebrations related to each strategic market for Directors & VP
- In partnership with the Project Manager, support for "in-year" strategic plans, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and efficient resource allocation.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes and practices across ATB, collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce duplication and enhance efficiency.
- Manages event expenses to ensure costs remain within budget constraints
