MARKET is a food truck and catering company that began as an award-winning restaurant in Calgary Alberta. Over the course of their 10 years as a restaurant, MARKET gained popularity amongst the Calgary food scene as an innovative farm-to-table restaurant that focused on quality customer service, craft cocktails, and a chef driven menu. MARKET won several awards including topping the Best Restaurants in Canada, Alberta, and Calgary lists, along with taking the White Hat Award for Best Restaurant of Year. MARKET has been fortunate to work with some of Calgary’s and Canada’s top chefs and hospitality industry leaders. In 2020 MARKET sold their 17th Avenue restaurant location and shifted their focus to the food truck & catering services which has seen immense growth over the past 3 years. MARKET is growing rapidly as the demand for their quality food, customer service and culinary experiences increases.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Leadership and Team Management**:
- Provide effective leadership to the Food Truck and Catering teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team, ensuring each member is aligned with the company's goals and values while maintaining high staff moral and positive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with the team to inspire creativity and excellence in hospitality, customer service, and quality food offerings.
**Operational Excellence**:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Food Truck and Catering divisions, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Implement and refine operational processes to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
**Menu Development**:
- Collaborate with owner to create innovative and appealing menus for both the Food Truck and Catering services.
- Stay ahead of culinary trends and incorporate unique and seasonal offerings into the menus.
- Continuously review sales trends, conduct tastings and gather feedback to enhance and refine menu offerings as needed.
- Ensure that we have a well-engineered menu that cross utilizes ingredients to help with cost management and hitting key KPI’s.
**Marketing Strategy**:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Food Truck and Catering services, including online and offline channels.
- Collaborate with ownership to create engaging content, promotions, and campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to adapt marketing strategies for maximum impact.
**Business Development**:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand revenue streams, including exploring partnerships, entering new markets, and introducing innovative services.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Sustainable growth and expansion should be top of mind as we look at expanding the MARKET services into new markets.
