Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll and benefits administration
- Responsible for payroll processing and ensuring accurate and timely payments
- Administer and manage RRSP program, benefits plans and other employee compensation
- Facilitate a comprehensive onboarding and offboarding process to support a positive employee experience
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR policies and programs that align with Blue Sky’s strategic goals
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace culture
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, acting as a trusted advisor to both staff and management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and stay current on HR best practices

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- CPHR designation (or in progress)
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on payroll, benefits, RRSPs and employee lifecycle management
- Strong knowledge of Canadian labor laws, specifically Alberta legislation
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using Dayforce Powerpay (formerly Ceridian) and an HRIS program
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
