**Marketing & Business Development Coordinator (Full Time - 1 Year Contract)**

**Position Description**:

We are currently looking for a highly skilled, caring, and safety focused individual for our Team. This individual will join the team on a full-time, 1-year contract, with the option to renew based on performance and department needs to assist with business development, promote our brand and engage with our audience. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing & Business Development, the Marketing & Business Development Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with proposal development and promoting awareness about Buttcon and its services.

**Here’s What You’ll be Responsible for**:

- Assist with creating and updating resume templates for proposals as new staff come on board and as requested by Manager or Coordinators.
- Assist in creating and updating project profiles for proposals as necessary and when requested.
- Assist in the preparation of drafts and assembly of prequalification and proposal documents as required.
- Input and provide updates to opportunity and marketing content on CRM database (Cosential/Unanet software).
- Assist with updating internal and external websites.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, such as blog posts, social media content, newsletters, and press releases. This may involve some writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Help manage and maintain the organization's social media profiles. This includes scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and tracking performance metrics.
- Assist in the creation of visual content, including graphics, infographics, and images for marketing materials (Canva, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.).
- Help in the planning and execution of marketing and promotional events, staff events, trade shows, etc.
- Ensure that all marketing and communication materials adhere to the organization's branding guidelines.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining records.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Manager as required.

**What You’ll Bring to the Team**:

- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Strong proofreading, editing and business software skills (style, format, grammar, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Has organization and time management skills, including and ability to manage and prioritize competing assignments
- Attention to detail and accuracy.

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Experience with Marketing and Business Development is preferred.
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Fine Arts, or related field would be an asset.
- Knowledge and prior experience in a general contracting firm and/or proposal development process would be an asset.
