**Position**:Event Coordinator and Marketing Specialist
**Salary**:$55, 000 - $65, 000 + Bonus
**Expected Start Date**:As soon as possible

**Responsibilities**:
**Fundraising and Logistics Management Responsibilities**:
- Develop fundraising and logistics plan for all corporate events in collaboration with internal team, external stakeholders and vendors.
- Provide timely and on-going progress reports for direct divisional manager.
- Develop and manage internal corporate systems for fundraising.
- Work closely with internal team and 3rd party companies to execute marketing strategies and to develop content for event marketing materials and promotions.
- Execute the strategic objectives of the event including fundraising tactics to grow revenue.
**Sponsorship Management Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement sponsor and corporate program strategy.
- Solicit and manage activities for sponsorships, ensuring that all sponsorship package deliverables are met.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with key partners, associates, vendors, suppliers, sponsors and participants.
**Project Management Responsibilities**:
- Manage the execution and coordination of all events, including but not limited to budgets, schedules, contracts, and other related activities to complete event deliverables, as assigned.
- Operate within allocated budget, established guidelines and policy & procedures, notifying direct manager of variances, adjusting strategies, budgets and priorities as required.
- Work collaboratively with each task lead ensuring that budget and critical processes are adhered to and that goals and objectives are clearly defined.
**Compliance and Other Responsibilities**:
- Answer and response to calls regarding inquiries from clients, vendors, participants, sponsors, partners, and associates.
- Form contacts with local media outlets, both online and in person.
- Take reservations for booths and speaking engagements.
- Create, compile and export databases containing all information for each event.
- Adhere to guidelines, proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Ensure timely pre and post event follow-up for all key responsibilities outlined.
- Manage and coordinate Event Project Execution Plan
- Operate within an allocated budget and established guidelines, policies & procedures.
- Inspect public areas and venues prior to events and provide further direction to meet goals and standards.
- Provide on-site support for events, as required.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- University Degree or College Diploma in Marketing.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in executing complex corporate events.
- Experience developing and executing fundraising and sponsorship strategies.
- Advanced project management experience.
- Available to work flexible hours, including evening and weekends as required.
- Ability to efficiently navigate and use Microsoft Software including but limited to; Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Strong Communication and Organizational Skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Ability to Negotiate with Vendors.
- Ability to Manage and Work within a Budget.
- Knowledge of Event Performance Monitoring Methods.
- Ability to Create Reports that Guide Future Event Planning.
