Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

- Place orders for necessary materials, equipment, and services to meet production and project requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and payments.
- Work with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of goods, including international shipments.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure that materials and equipment meet required specifications and deadlines.
- Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure that all procurement activities are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Work with finance and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

- Authorized to work in Canada, without restrictions
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong organizational and process-oriented skills with a focus on attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software and systems.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to procurement and logistics.
- Experience working in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred.
