We are currently hiring a **Front Desk and Student Services Assistant **to join our team at our Toronto Campus
**What You Will Do**
- Answering and transferring phone calls via Microsoft Teams, to the appropriate person, and taking messages.
- Monitoring and responding to e-chat.
- Managing department meetings and scheduling meetings.
- Maintaining order, reminding students of rules and regulations; resolving conflicts and reporting conflicts appropriately.
- Making phone calls to students and clients as requested by administrative staff.
- Performing general administrative work upon request from instructors or administrators.
- Supporting Academic & Student Services processes and projects.
- Fulfilling other administrative duties assigned by the Academic Manager.
- Greeting students and clients, introducing our programs to them in a professional manner.
- Welcome visitors, determine the nature of their business and notify appropriate personnel about the visitors.
- Observing the front door entrance, keeping the area quiet and safe.
- Monitoring the operation of the photocopier; taking payment from students for copy card setup and reload.
- Photocopying, printing, faxing and scanning documents for administrative staff and instructors.
- Managing administrative and faculty supplies and inventory.
**What You Will Bring**
- Minimal 1 year of experience in education and education administrative environment or relevant experience.
- Experience in working with international students is preferred.
- Completed degree or diploma in a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Ability to take responsibility, to work well as a team member to work independently.
Working Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, from 12:30pm to 8:30pm/Monday to Friday 8-4pm
