The HR Manager, reporting to CEO directly, is responsible for daily human resources administration and recruitment. The HR Manager plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources office and will act as a partner to employees and management, helping them will the human resources inquiries and issues. This is a key position and CHRP/CHRL designation is required. We are looking for professional individuals to join us.

**Job Types**: Full-time

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide consultation on issues related to legal and procedural compliance, employee / labour relations, workforce planning, talent and performance management, compensation, and organizational development
- Manage on/off-boarding - Recruitment and voluntary and involuntary terminations of employment
- Assist for payroll processing, including; bi-weekly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, and benefit changes
- Maintain and update the employee handbook and assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and programs
- Manage employee daily records and ensure compliance
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with employees and managers
- Influence and empower leaders to accelerate the growth and development of their teams
- Any other duties assigned

Must haves:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset.
- 1-5 years prior experience in Human Resources
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with all aspects of the payroll cycle and benefits administration preferred
- Self-motivated and directed professional who consistently displays honestly, integrity and ethical behaviour
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and perform tasks in a timely fashion
- Excellent customer service skills: responsive, flexible and effective in work; able to manage challenging situations
- French speaking skill is an asset.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
