- The Coordinator, Human Resources (HR) holds responsibility for coordinating various key functions within the HR Department. The Coordinator, Human Resources conducts research and analysis related to aspects of the employment relationship, as well as working with and supporting the Human Resource Advisors and Managers regarding a wide range of Human Resource Services at the local levels such as contract interpretation, union negotiations, grievance management, recruitment and selection, training, change and transition, performance management and team development.
- Starting salary will be approximately from $65,884 to $82,355 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.**Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre** is a 46-bed hospital with 115 residential care beds in the adjoining Peace Villa Care Home. They have two state of the art operating rooms, ambulatory clinics including cancer care and hemodialysis, emergency and ICU, a birthing centre with single maternity rooms for labour, delivery, and post-partum.**Fort St. John** is located above the Peace River Valley, and has a diverse population of 21,000 (2021) and serves an area of approximately 69,000. **Qualifications**:

- Completion of a Diploma in Human Resources Management or related discipline, and
- Three (3) years recent related experience in a large, multi-union organization, preferably within a health care or public sector environment, or
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of human resources methods and practices.
- Excellent research and analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated work planning and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
