**Human Resources Generalist**

The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR Director to support the organization's overall objectives. The role involves managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, performance management, and compliance with applicable labor laws.

**Duties**:

- Coordinate and manage the full recruitment life cycle, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
- Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
- Advise and assist management in implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other related benefits.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits.
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.
- Facilitate employee development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance feedback, goal-setting, and improvement plans.
- Stay updated on federal, provisional, and local labor laws and ensure company compliance.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Generate reports and provide HR metrics to management as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Knowledge, Abilities & Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Experience working with Indigenous community will be an asset.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
