Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Coordinator will support the daily functions of the Human Resource department including full cycle recruitment, labour relations, and enforcing company policy and procedure.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supports the activities associated with full cycle recruitment including posting job ads, collecting resumes, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks and preparing offers.
- Conducts background checks and/or employee eligibility verifications.
- Initiates and oversees new hire orientation and onboarding
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to: disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Supports the scheduling team as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Some experience in a similar role would be considered an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS systems
