**Here’s where you’ll be focusing**:
The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient coordination between Sobeys and its customers on Transportation related issues. You will demonstrate this through a high level of service and support to all banner stores and wholesale customer. The goal is to foster positive business relationships both internally and externally, to improve efficiency, response time and resolution of concerns.

- Manage Third Party (Brokers) to ensure company standard requirements and policies are being adhered to
- Provide accurate information about deliveries, processes and company policies
- Handles customer complaints and escalations with empathy and professionalism
- Document customer interactions and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and improve service delivery
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
- Verification of 3rd party invoices ensuring accuracy of charges and details
- Troubleshoot with drivers on delivery issues as they arise
- Compliance with all Company food safety standards, guidelines and procedures
- Perform all other duties as assigned

- Must exhibit methodical work habits
- Must be contentious and able to attain all pre-set work deadlines
- Proven experience in customer service or call center environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and EXE, TMS, Samsara systems
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction

**What you have to offer**:
**Educational and Working Experience**:

- Two or more years related experience in a transportation, warehouse or logistics environment
- Previous inbound call center or customer service experience
- Experience working in an office environment
- Expert knowledge of customer service, providing direction to other employees/vendors
- Proficiency with de-escalation, high stress, time sensitive deadlines

**Working Conditions**
- RSC environment
- May be required to lift up to 88 lbs
- Physical work including frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time
- Possible exposure to extreme temperatures
- Various shifts including evenings and weekends
