**We are looking for a highly motivated, leader to be a part of Canada’s largest clean power project.**
**Purpose of the Position**:
Coordinator. The LMS Coordinator is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all training qualifications
and personnel records in the LMS supporting CanAtom projects at the Darlington and Pickering Nuclear
Generating Station.
**About the JV project**:
- The joint venture between SNC-Lavalin and Aecon has been awarded a contract with Ontario Power Generation
- (OPG) to carry out the Darlington Retube and Feeder Replacement (RFR) project. The project involves
- refurbishment of all four reactors at the Darlington Generating Station and consists of two phases - a Definition
- Phase and an Execution Phase. The Definition Phase includes the construction of a full-scale reactor mock-up to
- simulate key elements of the refurbishment work, and the development, procurement and testing of specialized
- tooling required for the project. The Execution Phase involves refurbishment of the reactor cores using the tools
- and methods that were developed and tested during the Definition Phase
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversees learning management system and policy and procedure standards for data input, qualification
- structure and development, item set-up, resource set-up, data retrieval
- Audit and monitor data integrity of users and curricula within the LMS, policies, and procedures.
- Work directly with related Payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate creation of LMS User Profiles
- Assists content owners to upload and test course content that will be added to the LMS
- Create learning objects in the LMS for various training events
- Work with Corporate Learning Team to develop, define, and adopt rules for new LMS feature implementations
- and roll outs
- Maintain a process of continuous review, feedback and action to spot areas of opportunity, including the
- automation of repetitive tasks if possible
- Track and record training completion in the LMS and for policy and procedure training; identify and need for
- re-scheduling of training
- Supports and works closely with Training Supervisors and Manager, Onboarding Training to be familiar with
- the training curriculum
- Interfaces directly with corporate and system administrator
- Additional duties as assigned.
**How do you qualify?**
- Two to three years related experience
- Post Secondary education in business or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of learning management systems and other learning technologies
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and best practices
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in teams
- Ability to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple, concurrent assignments and tasks
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability
