**Job Title**: Facilities Repair Associate
**Employee Classification**: Part-Time, Hourly, Flexible shifts

Cober is a family owned print manufacturing business operating over 105 years and has expanded to three locations in Ontario with over 200 employees. **Job Summary**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the overall functionality and safety of the company.
Assist staff moving and rearranging furniture and equipment.
Respond to maintenance requests and promptly address issues including, but not limited to, fixing carts in production, patching minor structural damage and addressing minor electrical or plumbing concerns.
Manage multiple repair and maintenance tasks simultaneously, prioritizing based on urgency and impact on operations.
Perform cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness of offices, washrooms, and common areas.
Respond promptly to cleaning requests and address any spills or stains to ensure a safe and tidy environment.
Replace light bulbs and fluorescent tubes as required. Involves working on ladders.
Assist other departments with any maintenance issues or procedures within the scope of maintenance and mechanical expertise.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Coordinate with General Manager to source and purchase parts needed to complete repairs and to outsource specialized labour such as plumbers or electricians as needed.
Perform minor building repairs, painting and other building maintenance tasks.
Request supplies in a timely manner to ensure adequate levels are maintained for use within the building. Maintain a well-organized inventory of supplies necessary for repairs and maintenance.
Comply with all occupational health and safety requirements.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
High school diploma or vocational/technical certificate.
Previous building maintenance experience in a plant environment.
Mechanical aptitude and basic mathematics.
Able to read instructions and comprehend directions on cleaning materials.
Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. Make suggestions on how to improve processes or aspects of the facility that are cost effective.
Self-directed and able to prioritize work and juggle multiple priorities.
Respond promptly to staff and facility needs. Can easily adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent focus and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license.
