**Position Overview**:
The Program Manager is responsible for establishing a dynamic and engaging learning environment within the program and contributing to continuous student success. This role supports academic operations in achieving operational excellence and ensures compliance with faculty policies and procedures.

**Working Conditions**:
Hybrid work model, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. This position will be expected to work on-campus a minimum of 2 days per week or as required based on business needs.

**Responsibilities**:
**Leadership and Faculty Management**:

- Lead to inspire enthusiasm and commitment within the program.
- Identify faculty resource requirements, actively participate in the hiring process, and offer recommendations for faculty recruitment.
- Facilitate onboarding new faculty members and mentor them in implementing effective teaching techniques.
- Maintain daily records of faculty performance, including punctuality, class cancellations, and student feedback.
- Schedule faculty meetings to address performance improvement.
- Conduct performance appraisals for faculty and communicate action plans as required.
- Participate in various faculty activities and events, including meetings, orientations, and graduation ceremonies.
- Oversee the faculty assessment process, including both internal and external verification.
- Plan and lead program-specific professional development sessions.
- Provide support and guidance to Program Coordinators.
- Engage in program-specific marketing activities such as webinars and workshops when necessary.

***Program Delivery**:

- Participate in professional development sessions and encourage faculty engagement.
- Ensure alignment with program objectives, faculty standards, course outlines, VLOs, assessment breakdowns, and teaching resources.
- Oversee the program course portfolio, communicate any course outlines or curriculum changes, and ensure consistent use of materials.
- Review and approve faculty-submitted course materials, including teaching slides, activities, assessments, and cancellations.
- Ensure the delivery mode alignment with on-campus and online class requirements.
- Evaluate and identify faculty needs and establish a supportive system to foster a collaborative and inclusive teaching environment.
- Provide teaching support for courses when required.
- Lead program reviews and audits.
- Ensure compliance with faculty policies and guidelines.

**Student Success**:

- Collaborate with the Student Success Department to monitor student academic progress, grades, and attendance.
- Organize one-on-one meetings with students who breach the Academic Honesty policy and refer students to academic support services.
- Commit to a high standard of academic integrity.
- Conduct the program-specific student orientation.
- Liaise with different departments on academic and other student-related matters.
- Encourage student feedback and establish open communication channels with students for addressing course-related issues.

**Education and Experience**:

- A master's degree or a combination of education, training, and experience.
- 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in the vocation, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both.
- 1 to 3 years of academic administrative experience.
- Experience in managing a diverse team of educators.
- Experience in curriculum and program development.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively convey complex information to students.
- Proficiency in evaluating and improving curriculum.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player.
