Leavens Mazda is looking for an **Internal Advisor/ Warranty Administrator **to expand our service department.

**Job Duties (including but not limited to)**:

- Ensure all internal work orders and sublets are coordinated.
- Responsible for dealing with Sales Department and third-party appraisal to obtain approvals.
- Prepare repair orders, enter them into the database system and close the orders by providing appropriate repairs and services. - Issue internal and warranty repair orders.
- Ensure all required vehicle parts are ordered.
- Organize the workflow of internal service vehicles through the shop.
- Present estimates of work required on used vehicle reconditions.
- Responsible for making decisions on how the vehicle will be repaired depending on policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Assists the Service Manager as necessary.
- Perform other Service-related duties as required by management.
- Submit Warranty Claims in compliance with dealership policies.
- Close out all warranty work orders daily.
- Create and submit all warranty claims and extended warranty claims.
- Follow up on any outstanding warranty claims to keep receivables current on a regular basis.
- Identify exceptional cases which may result in special agreements with the Head Office (Such as Goodwill); complete the required documents and follow up.
- Analyze claims denied by the manufacturer/supplier and, if applicable, re-submit them as soon as possible or obtain authorization to cancel them.
- Keep current on all new technical bulletins and open recall campaigns.
- Ensure claims are complying and accurate documentation retained for audit purposes.
- Work with accounting and Service Manager on warranty follow-up i.e. Missing claims, charge backs and denied claims.
- Maximize claim eligibility.
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Post secondary diploma/degree or equivalent experience.
- Service/Internal Advisor experience is considered an asset.
- Previous experience with scheduling in an automotive environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Basic knowledge of or ability to understand the mechanics of a vehicle.
- Ability to set effective and efficient time schedules.
- Ability to prioritize workflow.
- The desire to provide a high level of customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills- Valid G License with Clean Drivers Abstract
