As part of our rapidly growing team, you will play an important and unique role in working towards our mission to create the best people management system for our customers so they can spend more time doing what they love.

**Responsibilities**:

- Remit Client local, state, and federal taxes on a timely basis
- Correspond with government agencies and resolve inquiries
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve related issues
- Prepare and file accurate W-2 forms on a timely basis
- Handle year-end filings such as 1099 and 940/941 forms
- Keep up-to-date with the latest payroll laws and regulations
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and their employees
- Recommend improvements on company tax filing processes

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- 3-4 years of experience in payroll filing local, state and federal taxes
- Well-versed in US payroll laws
- Proven experience administering payroll, W-2 filings and related tasks
- Up-to-date knowledge of US Payroll laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills to handle employee and client inquiries
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

**Previous Experience**:

- Payroll: 3 years (required)
- Affordable Care Act: 1 year (preferred)
- Tax filing/payments: 3 years (required)
