**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Process bi-weekly payroll across all companies for our Canadian and American associates while ensuring that earnings (and deductions) are accurately processed based on preapproved timesheets
- With assistance from Accounts Payable Supervisor, ensure all expense reimbursements are processed
- Remit all source deductions on a timely basis
- With support from Controller, calculate, accrue, and remit compliance related filings (WorksafeBC, WSIB, Washington L&I, and new registrations, as required
- Ensure all discontinuations of employment are processed timely and accurately, including calculation of final pay and submission of ROE (or other government filing)
- Liaise with People and Culture Team as needed
- Responsible for processing all garnishment orders and related deductions
- Complete year end payroll tasks including registrar reconciliations, production of tax slips, and submitting government filings
**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:
- 2-4-years’ experience in full-cycle payroll administration ideally in Canadian and US payroll
- Canadian Payroll Association (PCP or CPM) is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Extremely well organized, accurate, with superb attention-to-detail
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Previous experience with UKG payroll system would be an asset
