**About the team**

The HR Systems Management team brings together experts in HR Systems, Design Thinking, Process Analysis Optimization and Program Management. This team, like others in HR Systems, designs and deploys scalable technical solutions to better organize, understand and proactively deliver Sun Life’s current and future workforce needs. You will work with a team that is committed to releasing high value features and who is passionate about delivering system solutions that create awesome employee experiences.

**What will you do?**
- Identify trends in products and product roadmaps that have the potential to enhance our HR operations
- Stay updated on system releases, features and best practices, proactively review and recommend new features and functionalities
- Offer guidance and coaching to foster the development of the team’s technical expertise
- Assist in refining requirements and provide guidance around system capabilities to support solution design
- Support the team to prioritize stakeholder’s backlog and advise on best practices
- Lead and support communications with stakeholders to ascertain their needs and outline scope of work
- Conduct technical lead reviews to ensure proper configuration changes before moving to production
- Responsible for workload management, goals delivery and communication of deliverables across HR Systems Management teams
- Empower and train team members handle tasks efficiently, fostering a culture of peer-to-peer learning
- Identify and support training opportunities for the team through courses and projects
- Translate organizational objectives into actionable work deliverables
- Assist with troubleshooting and provide complex issue resolution
- Ensure team’s compliance with change control process and audit requirements on JIRA and SharePoint
- Establish and enforce industry best practices while ensuring work adheres to Sun Life’s corporate policies and standards
- Recognize and celebrate team achievements across teams
- Support and maintain process management documentation for best practices and guidelines

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Education in Human Resources, HRIS or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with supporting HR-related tasks, processes and services is preferred.
- Knowledge of standard development stages and agile practices is an asset.
- Dedicated commitment to customer service, clear communication, and team collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks through assessing importance and urgency of each task and allocation appropriate time to ensure timely completion.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure data integrity and high quality.
- Creative thinker with an innovative, growth mindset.
- Follow and recommend improvements to internal standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and to mitigate risk.
- Develop deep understanding and active participation in the Workday Community platform by joining relevant groups, forums, and discussions to stay on the latest enhancements and best practices.
