**Job Description**:
The Release Specialist’s role is to ensure the management and coordination of changes released into the end to end and Production environments. The focus of the Release Specialist will be on balancing effectiveness, compliance, and risk for all changes. The Release Specialist will ensure that changes are following proper release processes and that the builds have met acceptable standards, before proceeding through for production implementation.

**More specifically, you will be responsible for the following**:

- Coordinating with cross-functional teams, such as development and testing teams, to ensure the successful delivery of software releases.
- Communicating with stakeholders, including business users, development teams and Infrastructure teams, to provide updates on release activities.
- Identifying and addressing issues that may impact the successful delivery of software releases.
- Works collaboratively with the management team to assist in prioritization, effective management of releases and emergency changes.
- Efficiently executes all administrative tasks including, but not limited to, document preparation, documentation compliance, record maintenance.
- Effectively communicate highly technical information to functional, technical team members and management.
- Keep clients, peers and managers informed on progress and the status of issues.
- Actively contribute to the implementation, maintenance and evolution of the End to End environment.
- Work with the automation team for activities related to the release processes (approbation, deployment, smoke tests, etc.).

**Qualifications**:
**To join our team, you need**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Prior exposure to Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) and change management / software deployment tools (such as Azure DevOps GitHub) is an asset.
- Familiarity with DevOps set of practices and system development life cycle
- Experience with ITIL v3 or greater in ServiceNow is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Bilingual, French and English, as you will collaborate with people across Canada and the USA.
