**Job Description**:
The HR Generalist will assist the HR Manager with recruiting and staffing, performance management, employee development, training, and succession planning.

**The HR Generalist should**:

- Be a self-starter with a high energy level
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Have 1-5 years of experience using various HRIS and Time and Attendance software programs
- Communicate well with all levels of employees and management
- Be able to handle multiple projects and tasks with varying timelines

**The HR Generalist will**:

- Have full ownership of HRIS data integrity
- Handle weekly manpower planning
- Manage, create, and own all plant training records
- Manage new hire orientation for all hourly and salary employees
- Work within a unionized environment
- Liaise with payroll and union executives

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or HR Management required
- 3 - 7 years of professional HR experience in a manufacturing environment with modern HR processes
- 1 - 5 years of working with various HR systems
- Labor relations experience required

**Must be authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis without requiring visa sponsorship.**
