We are looking for an energetic, team-oriented **Human Resource Generalist** to join our team.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Auburn Developments, located in downtown London, Ontario, is looking for a Human Resource Generalist to be an integral member of the HR team, and work with all Department Leaders to provide day to day HR support to our employees. Working on site and reporting to the Human Resource Manager you will be responsible for the following:

- **Recruitment & Onboarding**_
- Responsible for full recruitment cycle
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of the HR portion of the new hire orientation and onboarding process.
- Maintain HRIS and process changes for new hires, transfers, adjustments, leave of absences, terminations, etc.
- Collect and track metrics to support successful retention measures
- **Payroll & Benefits**_
- ADP (payroll) administration including updates for new hires and separations
- Supporting the payroll auditing process including auditing weekly timesheets, following up on missing hours, and schedule changes by working closely with Department Leaders.
- Administers and manages benefits for all applicable employees, including new employee enrollment, termination of departing employees
- Serving as the first point of contact for employee benefit concerns, updates, and questions;
- **Employee Relations**_
- Assist in the management of WSIB claims, including communication and documentation with employees and WSIB
- Assist in the facilitation of RTW action plans for injured employees
- Assist in the coordination of social and recreational events, suggestion programs, company barbecues, etc. to increase participation and enhance employee teamwork

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED**
- College or University degree in a related field (Human Resources, Business, Administration)
- Knowledge of various types of legislations, laws, standards, and best practices relating to Human Resources, Payroll Administration, and Information Management.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Previous experience with payroll and HRIS system, specifically ADP, an asset
- Attention to detail is a significant skill set required for this position.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize to meet ongoing multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and training skills.
- Advanced computer skills using MS Office and HRIS database systems.
- Comfortable working independently and able to make decisions with little or no supervision
- Professional, calm demeanor with excellent customer service skills
- Enthusiastic and team oriented
