Contractor Sales

**DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Develops and maintains Sales for the assigned existing accounts.
- Actively recruits new customers by establishing contact, understanding their business and offering solutions.
- Establishing a schedule for visiting job sites and maintaining contact with customers is essential for maintaining strong relationships, staying current with ongoing projects, and managing customer needs and follow-ups.
- Provides service to the customer base, including price and delivery quotations, sourcing new or unique products, following up on orders, and completing material estimates as required.
- Negotiates with the customer to secure future business.
- Creates Orders and coordinates Delivery to the customer through expediting team and Logistics Department.
- Review blueprints and material take-offs with the customer to ensure clarity on the scope of work concerning the estimate.
- Coordinates the sourcing of particular orders of non-stock items from vendors via the inside buyer and arranges prices while communicating lead times and Delivery to the customer.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- The ability to assess opportunities and adapt sales strategies to correspond with the available marketplace and competitive pressures.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to operate with a diverse base of customers and co-workers.
- Persuasion and decisiveness when negotiating with customers and suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of building materials and construction techniques.
- Accuracy and close attention to detail when preparing quotations and orders.
- Understand the risk in driving to and visiting job sites while respecting the Occupational Health & Safety Protocols.
**WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**:
- Reports directly to the Dealer-Owner.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
