Under the supervision of the Manager of Financial Systems, Corporate Finance, the PeopleSoft Module Analyst will work on functional issues of small to moderate scope with varying complexity where the analysis of the situation, business process, or data requires thorough review and detailed investigation. The incumbent will need to exercise solid judgment with consideration of existing system configuration, business processes, and detailed policies and procedures to determine appropriate courses of action and solutions to the issues they are assigned.

**As the PeopleSoft Module Analyst you will**:

- Perform problem identification and analysis, troubleshoot functional issues or re-direct more complex issues to the appropriate PeopleSoft Finance Functional Coordinator for resolution.
- Perform security development work to address technical fixes, new components, or user requirements.
- Retrieve financial data through query tools or SQL, with the ability to use advanced Excel skills to summarize data.
- Update and develop draft manuals and training material in preparation for training.
- Perform other related duties as required.

**Your education and qualifications include**:

- Diploma in Business Information Technology, Business Administration, or a Certificate in Business Analysis, Information Systems Programmer/Analyst, or an acceptable combination of related post-secondary education and experience.
- Experience with and/or knowledge of the applicable specific Finance business functions.
- Progressive experience in ERP implementations and/or upgrades involving business/process analysis, requirement development, FIT/Gap analysis, and/or test scenarios and scripting.
- Knowledge of Query tools and/or SQL.
- Experience in advanced technologies of MS Excel (i.e. Pivot tables, look-up functions).
- Ability to conduct research, develop plans, analyze workflow/data, design roadmaps, system configuration, create and perform test plans, train users on implemented solutions and tools.
- Ability to multi-task (coordinate multiple projects, assignments and support activities simultaneously) and work toward multiple organizational goals and objectives.
- Ability to produce accurate, complete and understandable documentation.
- Analytical skills that include the ability to understand broad concepts and interrelationships and yet pay attention to detail.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, and external contacts, in accordance with the Respectful Workplace policy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment and multitask under tight deadlines.
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations to large groups.
- Excellent customer support and verbal communication skills.
