**INTERN, FULL TIME or PART-TIME**

**Reports to**: Account Lead and Senior Management Team

**Requirements**:
We would like to utilize a hiring grant for this position. In order to qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

- Enrolled full or part time in a Canadian college or university
- Studying any discipline, at any diploma or degree level
- Will be enrolled (completing program requirements) for at least the first 30 days of this internship
- Holds Canadian citizenship, Permanent Residency, or refugee status
- Interested in entrepreneurship and/or seeking alternatives to “traditional” job placements

**You are**:

- Hand-raiser and eager to learn new skills in PR, social media and digital marketing
- Highly creative and have a genuine interest in lifestyle, wellness, fashion, beauty, hospitality, travel and cannabis
- Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
- Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Clubhouse, LinkedIn)
- Reliable with deliverables and contributions for the client and the team
- A team player, always there to help with assigned tasks where needed

**The role**:
To support senior staff in any given request related to the operation of the business, public relations, and office tasks. Primarily, the intern role includes the following responsibilities:

- Assistance with client tasks (mail outs, editorial requests, on-site activations and event planning, PR plan creation and ideation)
- Project reporting (track, format and file press clippings; prepare client press updates, detailed end-of-month, end-of-year and project reports for clients)
- Conduct research and write, prepare and edit press materials, client collateral and other documents
- Database management and uploading press releases
- Actively participate in team brainstorms, attend team meetings and socials
- Contribute to client and agency social media accounts (ie. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Support with office admin duties, media mailers, planning team socials, sourcing and research

**The following criteria are an asset**:

- Currently enrolled in a college diploma and/or university degree (Marketing, Communications, English, Creative Writing or other relevant disciplines are an asset)
- Strong communication (writing, editing, verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong administration and organizational skills
- Understanding of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Clubhouse)
- Experience using design programs including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Passion for lifestyle, wellness, fashion, beauty, hospitality and the industries we work in

**Compensation**: $16.65 / hour
