About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our team at BC Hydro. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage with our stakeholders and promote our company's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement communication plans to support business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding
  • Manage and maintain our company's website, social media, and other digital channels
  • Develop and disseminate internal and external communications, including news releases, media advisories, and stakeholder reports
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on communication-related matters
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in communications, preferably in a corporate or government setting
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective communication strategies
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
