Restaurant Store Manager

**Job Overview**
We are a new food chain restaurant aiming to create an inviting and vibrant dining experience tailored for Gen Z. Our focus is on quality ingredients, exceptional service and a modern atmosphere that encourages social dining. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Store Manager to lead our team and drive our vision forward.
**Responsibilities**
- **Operational Management**: Oversee daily operations, ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
- **Team Leadership**: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance team performance.
- **Customer Engagement**: Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring exceptional service and addressing any customer concerns promptly and effectively.
- **Financial Oversight**: Monitor and manage budgets, payroll, inventory, and costs to achieve financial goals. Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- **Marketing and Promotion**: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns targeting Gen Z, leveraging social media and community engagement.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met consistently. Regularly review menu items and service offerings to align with customer preferences and industry trends.
- **Community Relations**: Build relationships with local vendors and community organizations to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar role in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of the Gen Z market, with experience in tailoring services and marketing strategies to this demographic.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Financial acumen, including budget management and cost control.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food industry.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Adaptability in high-pressure situations, effectively managing sudden occurrences with quick, strategic decision-making and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong team spirit and loyalty in building new food chain restaurant growth in Vancouver.
