Our vision combines innovative cuisine with exceptional service in a uniquely designed setting. To bring this vision to life, we are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager who shares our passion for creating an extraordinary guest experience.
Role Overview:
As our Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in launching and establishing our restaurant as a must-visit destination. You will oversee all restaurant operations, ensuring that each guest receives outstanding service while also achieving our efficient operational objectives. Your leadership will inspire a culture of excellence among our team and help to create an environment where creativity and innovation can flourish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure exceptional customer experience while ensuring all restaurant procedures and policies and standards are maintained
- Serving Customers - as a small team in an intimate dining roon, this role is also customer facing. Overseeing Service while also taking a section.
- Manage and mentor staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Manage budgets, control inventory, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages feedback and innovation from both Kitchen and Front of House.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage and Maintain the beverage program, including ordering, inventory and pre-batching.
- Adminstration - logging sales, calculating tips and overseeing timesheets
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Manager or similar role in an independently run, high-volume restaurant.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of best practices in restaurant management and the latest industry trends.
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, budgeting, cost control and EXCEL
- A commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
