We are currently looking for an Accounting and Purchasing Coordinator to join our expanding team.

**About the Job**
The Accounting Coordinator role reports to the Accounting Manager and will support with the following:
- Manage all expense sheets (including credit cards) submitted by team members and ensure entries are on time and accurate.
- Supporting as required with processing bi-weekly vendor payments by EFT.
- Responsible for supporting the manual payments that require urgent attention via cheque.
- Assist in opening client files in QuickBooks and assigning/sharing docket numbers with the rest of the team regularly.
- Assist in creating invoices, adding files to the internal cloud-based file folders, and updating QuickBooks with vendor invoicing.
- Assist in posting payments in the accounting files and QuickBooks and adding copies of these payments to the appropriate project folders.
- Review purchase orders for accuracy and communicate with team members, if necessary, on edits and/or changes to be adjusted.
- Run docket reports for projects regularly or as needed.
- Responsible for supporting the Accounting Manager with on-premises and digital filing systems, ensuring a neat and organized system.
- Order office supplies and proactively maintain adequate inventories.
- Work closely with the experience team to determine all program supply needs and source, order, and receive (or arrange for delivery) all items.
- Support the Accounting Manager with various accounting initiatives as required.
**Are you the one we’re looking for?**
**Education/Experience**
- Previous bookkeeping experience working with QuickBooks Online or similar software.
- Minimum 3 years experience as an accounting coordinator or clerk with a focus on AP and AR.
- Familiarity with procurement procedures.
- Familiarity with the Production and/or Agency industry is a strong asset.
- Accounting designation desirable
- College diploma, University degree, or equivalent experience.
**Skillsets/Strengths**
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written (bilingualism is a plus).
- Familiarity with accounting software packages, such as QuickBooks.
- Exceptional computer skills - including proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Robust file management skills.
- Able to source, negotiate, and track products effectively and efficiently.
- Strong time management skills - particularly prioritizing and organizing time.
- Must be able to handle frequent interruptions to planned work activities
- Must be able to respond and adapt quickly in a dynamic and changing environment, in a professional manner.
- Ability to build strong relationships and anticipate the needs of others.
- Collaborative team player who takes direction well.
