Bookkeeper/purchaser

The position of Bookkeeper is responsible for processing AR and AP invoices, posting purchase orders, researching and resolving vendors issues and other ad hoc reports for AP and AP.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Post Accounts Receivable invoices and record customers payments
- Prepare and review Accounts Receivable aging report
- Follow up on outstanding AR
- Coordinate Bank deposits
- Post Purchase Orders in QuickBooks
- Process invoices by entering accurate invoice information. Ensure proper matching with purchase order and bill of lading (3-way match)
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Request vendor’s statement of accounts and ensure all accounts are up to date
- Process intercompany invoices
- Assist with month-end and year-end duties
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ year(s) of relevant Accounting/Bookkeeping experience
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Must be detail-oriented, customer service driven and a team player.
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $47,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
