What will you do?

Reporting to the Chief Legal and Risk Officer (CLRO), the Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting governance, risk, and compliance functions and initiatives throughout the Organization. The Position will work alongside the necessary stakeholders to manage and uphold Board governance, support the strategic contract administration process through the management of new and existing contracts inclusive of RFPs and SLAs, ensure Organizational adherence to Trust and regulatory frameworks, and participate in risk assessments to ensure compliance and the upholding of Organizational governance standards.

Job Responsibilities
- Support the organization and management of Board meetings and ensure accurate documentation of Board activities and resolutions
- Contribute to the contract administration process through the management of new and existing contracts
- Assist with or manage ad hoc business projects, administrative tasks, and implementing Trust and regulatory change projects
- Develop and manage an Organizational compliance and risk assessment program
- Monitor and assess changes in regulatory requirements and support the implementation of compliance measures
- Establish and uphold signing authority levels including contract executions to support Board governance
- File corporate registrations and regulatory reports
- Work alongside necessary internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Maintain governance, risk, and compliance documentation
- Develop compliance policies and procedures to be implemented across the Organization
- Participate in risk assessments to identify and manage business risks and vulnerabilities
- Communicate regulations and identified risks to departments within the Organization through reports and presentations
- Establish and maintain a contract management system to ensure effective filing and documentation
- Organize and document existing and new contracts and correspondence
- Draft, proofread, and send legal documents and correspondence to appropriate internal stakeholders
- Monitor and create contracts in accordance with established standards
- Maintain industry knowledge and standards to advise on potential governance, risk, and compliance related issues
- Enforce Organizational adherence to industry standards, and provincial and federal legislative requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, political science, economics, or other relevant field
- 1+ years’ professional experience in a dynamic team environment
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Independent self-starter willing to take ownership of issues and drive to resolution
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Methodical thinker able to leverage a systems-thinking approach to complex issues
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Provides and practices sound judgment using independent decision-making
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, and prioritization skills
