**The Opportunity**

General Bank of Canada is looking for a temporary, fulltime **Analyst** to join the organization as a key contributor with the Bank’s Funding & Dealer Services team. Consistent with the growth trajectory of the Bank, this is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to contribute to building the bank of the future with considerable potential for learning, growth, and advancement.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Funding & Dealer Services, the Analyst is responsible for the timely processing of all auto loans, including auditing and compliance of the documentation. The Analyst is a key member of the Funding & Dealer Services team that is tasked to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and company policies when processing auto loans documents.

**Responsibilities**

**_ Loan Processing & Administration_**
- Review and audit all documentation received from dealerships to ensure compliance with all GBC policies as well as Anti Money Laundering policies.
- Upkeep maintenance of loan files by; logging all relevant loan data in the Bank’s systems, tracking accuracy of customer loan information, and maintaining loan files in accordance with guidelines.
- Prepare and assist in the processing of all potential loan renewals or cancellations so that records of documentation are maintained in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Responsible for the timely creation, auditing, entering, and funding of loan files daily and ensuring that said loans follow the Bank’s loan workflows, processes, and procedures.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to dealership personnel while following up with dealerships, other financial institutions, and solicitors to obtain additional documents as required to complete the loan funding.

**_ Customer Service_**
- Responsible for reviewing and maintaining lien registration reports, as well as, creating new manual registrations, lien amendments, renewals, and manual discharges. Supports reporting requirements by reviewing and maintaining lien registration reports as required.
- Resolve escalated issues raised by Dealerships through research, clarifying questions and providing alternative solutions when required that comply with the Bank’s policies and procedures. Also provide support to the GBC and First Canadian Reps with any inquiries and by resolving issues efficiently and accurately.
- Provide support for the legal team with administration and conducting of searches for lien, corporate and land as required.
- Provide feedback opportunities for improvements on policies and procedures by making recommendations for improving the quickness and efficiency of departmental processes. Actively participate in creating a culture of continuous improvement as it relates to the procedures, tasks to ensure we are focused on elevating the experience of our internal partners and external partners at GBC.

**What You Bring to the Table**
- Previous administration and customer service experience, in financial services is required.
- Post secondary education in a related field is considered an asset.
- Knowledge and understanding of retail loan products, lending processes and an understanding of credit terminology is an asset.
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment which requires the ability to be flexible, multitask and work between several systems simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritizing skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail ensuring deadlines are met and no details are overlooked.
- Strong technological skills, include experience with MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
