**The Role**:
As a strategic advisor to our CEO, you'll be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, from financial planning and analysis to investor relations and fundraising. Your strong change management experience will be critical in challenging the status quo and driving innovation across all multiple aspects of the business. You'll also have the chance to work closely with our multidisciplinary team, providing leadership and guidance to our financial and operations teams as we continue to grow and scale.

Financial Group - You will hold the highest level of fiscal responsibility within the organization and recommend improvements to ensure the integrity of a company’s financial information. You will plan and manage annual operating and capital budgets to enable the achievement of strategic goals within the established financial parameters. You will utilize the latest technological tools and methods to enable data analysis and forecasting that ground the company’s strategy and ensure we remain ahead of industry trends and developments. Raising and administering government grants and raising venture capital.

Operations Group - You will provide oversight of internal operations of the company, including factory implementations, manufacturing and supply chain management, product quality, factory health & safety and office & facilities management. And company expansion of operation into various new marketplaces.

**Executive Leadership**:

- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
- Make strategic decisions, consider options, anticipate outcomes and make choices that positively impact the company.
- Ensure internal controls and policy compliance are robust.
- Identify business opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies.
- Develop ESG strategies and programs.
- Ensure the safeguarding of assets and protection of Intellectual Property.
- Communicate and motivate your direct reports and clearly explain expectations and responsibilities.
- Empower, inspire and hold individuals accountable to achieve objectives.

**Financial Group**:

- Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on long-term business and financial planning.
- Predict and evaluate financial risks and identify how to avoid or minimize their impact.
- Review, streamline and refine all formal finance procedures.
- Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, cut all unnecessary costs, and oversee the preparation of all financial reports, including milestone reports for government grants.
- Ensure financial compliance and all regulatory requirements are met.
- Supporting the CEO and Board of Directors in discussions and negotiations with funding partners for loans, venture investment, and government grants.
- Work with external auditors to complete required audit processes.
- Manage with the CEO venture capital funding and government grants.
- Lead the planning and execution of the AGM process.

**Operations Group**:

- You with oversee the Operations group and work collaboratively with the Director of Operations to:

- Work closely and advise the CEO on strategies to maximize factory output expansion, minimizing waste and inefficiency.
- Work closely and advise the CEO on strategies for manufacturing expansion to multi-factory locations, initially across Canada, and expanding to the USA and beyond.
- Strongly support the development of ERP systems and the development of missing critical company database systems.
- Understand risk management efforts and translate that work into effective communication to current and potential investors.
- Adapt plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
- Champion an organizational culture of innovation and commitment to health & safety and quality.
