Nursing Simulation Centre Assistant

**Purpose**:
Reporting to the Simulation Manager, the Nursing Simulation Centre (NSC) Assistant provides support and contributes to the efficient, safe and effective operation of the NSC. This includes tasks such as, preparation of the lab for teaching demonstrations, opening and closing the NSC, and inventory control.

**Education**:
High School diploma.

**Experience**:
1 year related experience in the setup and operation of technical equipment (IT equipment, Audio-Visual, hospital equipment, or software). Healthcare simulation experience in an academic or professional setting is an asset.

**Skills**:
Dealing calmly and effectively with people. Exercising tact and diplomacy. Working accurately and effectively under pressure of high volume. Good eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
