**WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR**
**Pastry Chef (FT), with potential for Team Leader or Supervisor role**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all bakery operations, including production schedules and daily output
- Manage and train bakery staff, ensuring efficiency and adherence to recipes
- Ensure quality control of all products, maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and freshness
- Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items, balancing creativity with cost efficiency
- Maintain food safety standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Manage inventory, sourcing, and ordering ingredients while minimizing waste
- Collaborate with the management team to implement operational improvements
- Handle any customer inquiries or special orders professionally and promptly
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to management
**Qualifications**:
- **Minimum 3 years of experience as a bakery manager or supervisor and a Pastry Chef in Canada**:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a large volume of production
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Expertise in a wide range of baking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- **Must be legally eligible to work in Canada**:
- **Ability to work early morning, overnight shifts**:
- **Availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays**
**Preferred**:
- Diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or equivalent certification in Pastry Arts

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
