Daniel et Daniel operates in Toronto’s most exclusive venues including Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Evergreen Brickworks, Steam Whistle Brewery, The Royal Conservatory of Music, The Royal Ontario Museum and many more.

**Job Title**:Pastry Chef
**Hours**:40 - 44 +hours per week with overtime pay after 44 hours.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe.\
- Actively participate in the development and creation of new seasonally inspired dishes.
- Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation.
- Work with a variety of kitchen equipment. i.e ovens, stand mixers, counter top mixers, torches.
- Ensuring workstation is kept clean and orderly.
**Qualifications**:
- 2 or more years experience working within the food industry in a related role.
- French patisserie experience a plus
- Experience with chocolate, macaron and cake decoration
- Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process
- Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to problem solve creatively and calmly under pressure
- Positive attitude and a hunger for knowledge and growth
- Ability to work in a fast passed environment
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with team members

**Schedule**:

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
