**Position Summary**

As our Pastry Chef, you'll be at the helm of our dynamic culinary squad, reporting directly to our Executive Chef and Partner. Your role will involve spearheading the daily operations of our Pastry Kitchen, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. This includes training, maintaining quality standards, upholding food safety protocols, and overseeing kitchen personnel to guarantee excellence in every bite.

**What you’ll do,**
- Lead the hiring, training, and development of our pastry team.
- Collaborate in crafting and refining our current pastry recipes while exploring new and innovative techniques
- Uphold health and safety standards to provide a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
- Manage labor and operational costs through effective scheduling, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitors to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.**Your work experience and skills,**
- A deep passion and expertise in baking and pastry arts.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Launching new ventures, including recruitment and setup.
- Culinary education, especially in pastry arts, is advantageous.
- A knack for spotting talent and nurturing it within the team.
- Proficient in English with additional languages as a bonus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pastry and baking, including cake decorating.
- Possession of a Food Handler’s Certification.
