**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the settlement and case management teams
- Assist in the hiring, training, and supervision of staff and volunteers
- Ensure proper staffing of the settlement and case management teams
- Responsible for approving timesheets and requests for time off
- Participate in network meetings with government departments, community organizations and other service providers
- Coordinate with community partners utilising existing partnerships and establish new connections with local service providers to effectively respond to refugees' needs
- Contribute to the development of organizational frameworks in the following areas: standardize program outcomes, deliver quality and timely program outputs, research immigration trends and gaps
- Monitor, collect, review, and prepare statistical and narrative reports ensuring accuracy through relevant databases and sources
- Supervise administrative procedures to meet program objectives, HR policy, and Collective Agreement
- Ensure that staff and volunteers follow proper professional and ethical conduct when dealing with clients, and offer guidance to ensure quality of service is maintained
- Coach, motivate, and supervise staff performance and administer disciplinary action in a timely manner
- Conduct performance reviews and take all needed actions to remedy identified issues
- Facilitate regular staff meetings as needed
- Prepare funding proposals as directed by the Program Manager
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Social Work, Management, Psychology, Adult Education, Counselling, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Certificate in project management or PMP designation would be an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- At least three years’ experience in the supervision of staff
- Second language is an asset (French, Arabic, Swahili, Farsi, Dari, Pas
