**Position Summary**
We seek a highly motivated, results-oriented Director of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives. With a competitive base salary and a negotiable commission structure, this senior management role is responsible for managing five divisions' sales.
This is a crucial leadership role within our organization, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to work with CRM
- Represent Team Viking at industry events and conferences.
- Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals.
- Manage Indigenous Partnerships
- Take part in internal programs around SR&ED, IRAP, ERA, and software rollouts.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the industrial cleaning or related sector.
- Understanding of event-based projects and recurring revenue sales cycles.
- Proven track record of successfully securing new business and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of the oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation industries, pulp and paper, municipal, chemical, mining and minerals, and hospitality.
- Well-versed in Indigenous Affairs and Partnerships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
